Stephen J. Cook, MD

Dr. Cook has been with The Medford Radiology Group, P.C. since 1977. He graduated from University of Oklahoma School of Medicine and after internship, he served as a regimental surgeon with the United States Marine Corps in Southeast Asia.  His residency in Diagnostic Radiology was done at The University of Oregon School of Medicine (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon followed by a fellowship in Cardiovascular Radiology with Dr. Charles Dotter. 

 

Dr. Cook's special interest and hobbies include:

  • He is hopelessly addicted to fly fishing for anything that swims from Bluegill to Tarpon.
  • Bow hunting with his son Jeff, has taken him from Oregon to New Zealand, Argentina and Africa. He once darted and released a bull rhino with his bow.
  • A small machine shop at his home keeps him from hanging out at pool halls. He makes something useful such as parts for old fishing reels, arrowheads and tools.
